me out here a bit about chamber lapping. Can you direct me to a thread about it. I am about to have a barrel chambered up hear in Canada and I am wondering if it is a art or fairly straightforward?

I have heard that one of the big differences between lapping and not laaping is how many rounds will be required B4 the barrel will show its true potential. Is that so?:confused:

about chamber lapping. I know lapping a chamber in centerfires is something that is not normally done. I thought I have read that lapping the leade area of a rimfire chamber is common to remove the tooling marks. Is it so and how is it normally done? What is required to do it?
