Folks,
I know it's early to be thinking about a match in Aug (15th & 16th), but I've been told by a shooter who made his motel reservations today that the closest motel to Salem is already half booked for that weekend, due to another event in town.
If you are planning on coming to shoot both days, it might be a good idea to get a jump on your reservations now! August is also the Saratoga Horse Racing month, and anything within 40 miles of the race track will be booked before too long.
The three closest motels are:
Peace Be Still-518-677-5524
Blue Willow---518-677-3552
Sunshine Inn-518-692-2997
We've had shooters stay at all three places without complaints in the past. The first two are 10 miles south of the range, and the Sunshine is about 13 miles west of here.
You are also welcome to camp at the range. I can arrange a couple of electrical hookups and leave the clubhouse door unlocked for bathroom use. I can even supply tents and air mattresses if anyone needs one.
