Almost all Shooting Spots filled quickly for Saturdays TRIAD Bench Rest-Rifle Match............
The weather here is always the same and I think I'll just stop mentioning it.
We get Rain, Sun, Wind, etc...all in the same hour day after day............
JD held the Podium and got to display the Majic Pellet on his bench after winning last months TRIAD.

This months TRIAD was a Totally different grouping of targets at 50 feet and 25 yards and was a 121 Shot Match
instead of 150 shot.
There was One New Target with 48 shots at 50 Feet and the same New Target with 48 shots used at 25 Yards.
The Target with 25 shots at 50 Yards was the same that we have been using except there was one shot per bull
vs two shots per bull, as in the past.
Target Idea came from Larry Durham from California and I figured it was time to use his idea at all distances.
The targets for 50F and 25Y had 48 - 7/16" Black Dots.............that's it, nothing else!!!
You Must be 100% inside Black Dot to count as a Hit!
The 50Y was more generous, it had 25 - 1/2" Black Dots.
No Plugs were be used - Black must show 360 degrees around pellet hole to the naked eye!
Each Hit counted 10 Points PERIOD!
There was No Credit for partials!
Some of the shooters felt the Dots could have been bigger but after explanations could understand these targets are being evaluated and next months evaluation might be targets with 1/4" Circles..........ya never know........... ;)
John Mickel "Double Checked" all targets and a special thanks goes out to him.
Match Winner went to JD with a 870 out of 1210 possible. There was no "X" count.
RESULTS:
JD Dodge - 870 - Won 25Y and Match
Dave Brown - 820 - Tied with JD at 50F - Won 50F - shot a cleaner hole
John Mickel - 800
Bill Quick - 770 - Won 50Y
John Calhoun - 760
Ted Miles - 690 - New Gun and First Time in Competition
Bob Gribble - 680
Harvey Gertson - 580 - Only Springer
Kay Gribble - 540

We had another great day of Airgunning!! Hope to see you next time!
