FYI NRA has a special price on life membership of $300 for a limited time.
You can upgrade your annual or join if not a member already.
I upgraded mine yesterday.

I upgraded about two weeks ago for $600...thought there was no better time.

I upgraded from Endowment to Patron last night and bought my sister a Life membership. $300 each and money well spent.

If I remember correctly, Benefactor is the last upgrade level, right? The lady on the phone last night couldn't tell me the cost of going to Benefactor.

So I did a little research. Then I found this page: http://www.nraam.org/events/nra-membership-upgrade.aspx?ct=e

I could have upgraded to Patron for $250. I don't mind making the extra donation. But I'm going to use that page to take the $250 upgrade to Benefactor just as soon as my membership gets changed in their database to reflect the upgrade I did last night. I'm still shown as "Endowment" and the lady on the phone was pretty clear that it would take several days for the upgrade to get into their system since they're so overwhelmed at the moment with new and upgrading members.
