Franky's right, but mine has to come from Barnes & Noble as the local Borders doesn't carry it. I gotta say though, if you don't think it's worth the money, you are wrong.
Last month a fellow by the name of Professor Mike Wright was introduced to the readership, and man, does this guy know his stuff. In last month issue he wrote about analysing the new Smooth Twist barrel and did an excellent job. Then, this month he stepped things up a bit by totally explaining (in real words that everyone can understand) everything you will ever need to know about calculating both the Ballistic Coefficient and Ballistic Range for any particular projectile, and why finding them for each individual gun/pellet combination is so important. Plus, he doesn't just throw out a bunch of formulas, then walk away. He takes the time to totally explain what each part of each formula is so you will know what you are looking at. He is a Professor after all and prepares his articles as if he were preparing a lecture for one of his classes.
You gotta read what this guy has to say!
Oh, and by the way, in both of these magazines his articles were in conjuction with articles written by long-time Airgun World writer, Jim Tyler who has been analyzing airguns since day one (I think they said he's been on the staff for something like 30 years) so he really knows his stuff, and in fact is the sole reason why Professor Wright decided to offer his expertise to the Airgun World.
Just my 2¢ worth, but you'll thank Franky and me if you listen.
