Just a note to let everyone know that the next AirGun match in San Diego, at the Project2000 range, http://www.p2krange.com/
will be next Sunday - November 9th.

Sign up begins at 8:00am. We will have a 10 minute sight-in at 8:45, and first shots in anger commence at 9:00am.

Entry fee is $25 and includes lunch. Please bring yer own sody-pop.

We are going to take a break in December, and start up again January 2009.
By then we will have a regular schedule set for the year. Thanks to everyone for putting up with the loose ends this year.

Project2000 range has a problem with opening the gates at 8:00am as their day begins at 9:00am, so if you can be there right at 8:00 I can let all the competitors in. Please don't run the gate, I'll come back down at 8:30 to get anybody who showed up after 8:00.

Hope to see you there. John Harris

San Diego BR match

If t doesnt look like rainn, I plan to go.

Larry, I will personally guarantee sunshine for that match. JH

Well, my gaurantee of sunshine held up. Only problem was between periods of sunshine it rained. Oh, and the wind blew.... the backers down and the targets off the backers and the wind flags down....three times.

But no matter the circumstances, the end result was the same, Larry Durham won and showed everyone how to play this game.

It seems that friendships are formed during difficult times and we sure had the latter, and from my perspective, the former was cemented between most of the shooters this day.

I was happy just to be a part of the whole deal.

Thanks to everyone involved, John Harris

But it was a fun day none the less. I rather enjoyed the different weather features we had, the rain, the wind, the sun, the wind...oh wait already mentioned that.

Attached is the results.

Bill,
Thanks for posting all the scores. Sounds like you all had fun.
Great shooting by ALL. Real close scores, looks like anyone can win.
Michael, Great scores for a springer shooting in those conditions.
Would love to see some pictures maybe at your Jan. match.

Last San Diego club match of the yr. at Prject 2000

I drove down with Gary Grewer fromm winchester, Ca.. We had a pretty good time, despite the terrible wind conditions .... they werent all THAT strong, but they came from EVERY direction and changed very quickly!

btw, Gary's Daystate MKIII has a USFT barrel as fitted by Mac1.

Larry Durham,

Man, I can't believe how close you guys were to each other. Great shooting! And it's obvious that unless someone suddenly pulls away from the pack, or has an equipment failure, it's going to be anybody's game out there. Now, that's the way it's supposed to be!
