I received a notification to accept a friend on this site, I do not recognize the user here, he is on the list but I do not know him. can any damage be done by accepting the user to be a friend? I am unfamiliar with this feature on this site, and know that there was a problem with the pm feature last week. Thanks, Ron Tilley

It's probably harmless, but I would be leery. I finally closed my PM option as did others, I understand. There are simply too many wierdos in cyberspace.

I recently got an e-mail from a guy who said that we had communicated a couple of years ago and he asked for my phone number so he could call me. He said that he was not good at typing and would rather talk. He said he had information about "7mm Mauser Cartridges", and that struck me as odd since I have never had an interest in them. I ignored several of his e-mails. Today I got one from him saying that since I chose to ignore him he would not talk to me again. Strange.

And I look at it this way. If someone wants ME as a buddy, he must be really wacko.
