My preference is dot reticles for benchrest scopes. I don't care for alot of clutter so Nightforce NP2 and NP2DD are my choices.

The NP2DD is an excellent choice for target. A little difficult for hunting.

CH3, the dot is .07 which is the same size as the second dot in the NP1RR I believe. If you add a Davis 3x booster, the dot is still small enough for hold off. For more info see: http://www.nightforceoptics.com/LIBRARY/Reticle_booklet_final.pdf
