I purchased a Kimber 82 government target 22lr yesterday after testing three benchrest rifles. I tried the 40x remington, the marlin 2000L and the kimber. The 40x had a great trigger but it had been shot a lot and that concerned me. The marlin could not keep a tight pattern. But the kimber is practically brand new. It held tight patterns at 25 and 50 yds. trigger is about a half ounce. It is set up for a scope. I was wondering if anyone new where to get parts and accessories for it. I would like to find the iron sights for this gun. Like I said I am new to this sport and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program).... often has the Kimber 82 Gov sights for sale.

When you go to Rimfire central -Kimber- don't tell them of your half oz. trigger until you measure it yourself. The least I heard is 7-8 oz. If it is truly an original half oz. trigger that doesn't slam fire then it is in the same class as chicken lips. A miracle to be seen and sold to the highest bidder. I have the 82 AAM which is the upgrade of that with only 436 being made and not even close to that trigger pull.
