New Varmint For Score

Hello everybody im going to get a varmint for score setup in Effingham ILL. We will have access too 100-500 yard berms.I mostly would like this to be more of a fun shoot with two or three classes with a cash pay out and maybe a trophy for the winner of each class.I guess what i need from you guy and gals is a little info on some of the stuff you have seen left out of other shoots or just needs inproved on any suggestions would help because if its not fun and frindly no one shows up.THANKS FOR THE HELP...
 
Are you asking about a score shoot?

We have an unregistered VFS shoot every month at our club. We use NBRSA Hunter Class targets...We charge a minimal entry fee and pay the 100 yd, 200 yd, and Grand Agg winner...since we rarely draw a large crowd we only pay 1st place at each yardage and the Agg winner...We don't limit rifle or optics just as long it is safe and meets the spirit of the game..:D

You can shoot any distance you want using scoring type targets...another range shoots a 300,600,800 yd match with limited sighters and 10 shots for record on a single bulleye...

We also shoot a match using Black Powder animal type targets with scoring rings at 100/200 yds...it is also a money payback match...

Have you been to any of the group shoots over in St. Louis???? Having the first one next month towards the end of February.

linc, yes i've been a member for 12 yrs. or so just looking for a local score match to shoot maybe once a month.
