Glad to be hear, recently got interested in benchrest and decided to get a purpose built rifle, so upon seeing Chris Oldfield's FX Elite 25cal up for sale, I purchased it. Also got a Sightron SIII 6-24x50 FFP MOA scope to put on it. Our club has been having some meets to attract more participants.

It is a purpose built air rifle, I discussed many of the details with Chris when he was putting it together last year. If your club is going to run the long range events, 75 yards and out, it is a good fit. For USARB sanctioned events, you are limited to USA Unlimited due to the .25 caliber.

While I have never seen one up close, the FX action is reported to make barrel changes easy, so a .177 or .22 caliber barrel could be a replacement so you could participate in LV, HV or USA Open.

Where is you club located?

Club location

Our range is located in Puerto Rico and benchrest is starting anew.

The eagle has landed!

Well today I unpacked the rifle and I must say it's quite robust. It reminds me of an artillery piece as far as build quality. My Sightron scope should be here tomorrow or Tuesday. Can't wait to put some lead down range.

Got my Sightron SIII 6-24x50 FFP MOA scope and already installed it today. Can't wait to get to the range. Still have to lay low for awhile, doctor's orders.

Nice Silencer/Moderator!!! And, you've got a great scope as well.

This rifle belonged to Chris Oldfield and he placed 4th in last year's Phoenix 75 yrd. benchrest competitions with a score of 229.
