There are no trigger pull limits - probably, the most popular trigger being the Jewell, adjusted to between 1.5 and 2.5 ounces, depending upon personal preference. RG

A Jewell benchrest trigger will fit nicely into that Remington action just fine. Then you will have a SAFE light trigger with all adjustments available from the bottom of the action without removing the action from the stock. And...if you happen to want to use this rifle in VFS matches; just put a Wea 36 on it and you're ready to go.
