Hello all, I am going to start shooting F-Class pretty soon. I am currently shooting a 6BR. Here are the specs on my rifle can you tell me if this will be a good set up for F-Class;
1. Chamber-Match 6BR .272 no-turn chamber for Lapua Brass
2. Stiller Predator, Single Shot, Short Action
3. Bartlein, 28", 1-8 twist, .236 bore, 1.250 all the way to muzzle w/flutes. Barrel is throated with a .100 lead.
4. McMillan Tooley MBR with class added to rear for balance.
5. Jewel 2oz trigger
7. Vais Muzzle Brake (Can I use muzzle brake in F-Class?)
8. Stiller 20 MOA Rail
9. Nightforce 30mm rings
10. Nightforce 8x32x56mm w/MLR reticle
11. Weight is right at 19 pounds (Is this Ok, I was told it can't be heavier than 22lbs)
I would also like to shoot in the 600/1000 yard benchrest, can I do it with this rifle? I think I would have to be in the heavy gun class, right? Any help would be great. My rifle is shooting groups in the .0's and .1's, so I know it's capable of winning. Any advice would be great. Thanks
