New member on this forum today, just received a stunning M700 sleeved 6PPC with Seeley's name stamped....is he around anymore? Thanks, r in s.
Seely was a legendary gunsmith, an innovator and a major force in the development of Bench Rest shooting. There are plenty folks on this board who knew him and will speak for his work, I'm not one of the fortunate ones.

Ray,
Seely Masker built my first 2 rifles. The work was superb! They shot great and he was a real pleasure to do business with.

Further info on the Masker family.
Seeley's son, Jerry, is still competing and is the only person, so far, to make the Benchrest Hall of Fame by points earned only in the Unlimited/Heavy Bench class.

I think if one was to amass a short list, Seeley would be among those with names like Pope, Zischolts (sp) Howe, and a few others.
