Congratulations to John Stecik for setting a new 1,000 yard benchrest "Group Range Record" at Reade Range in Allemans, PA. John shot a 3.968" 10 shot group on Sunday, October 7, 2012.

Great shooting John, you must have had some group tighteners the night before. Or maybe that Reade range is a little more forgiving than Williamsport!

Joe--He also used a 6.5/284 and being a 6mm man was reluctant to admit it, but great shooting John.
 
Matt--Yeah he said the gun wouldn't shoot better than 9", but the gun got tired setting on the rack.
 
John you better look down the bore, it may look like Scott's after he broke the light gun records at Williamsport!

All this reminds me of Bill Crawford's Light Gun. He had a .300 Win Mag, & he swore the barrel was shot out. Finally, one day he said "this is the last match for this barrel..." and went out & set a new IBS LG score record.

Good Shooting John. why cant you do this at Williamsport? Ha Ha. Fine Job. Keep up the good work.
 
Everytime I shoot against John, he has always seemed to right there in the hunt. Good shooting John. keep it up.
