New Prairie Dog Rifle Build

I am in the process of putting together a project using a Remington 40-X single shot short action receiver chambered in 6X47 Lapua. I intend to shoot long range p/dogs and possible 600 yard paper, strictly a bench gun. I intend to have a 30" barrel along with a muzzle brake so added weight in the butt stock would be a great asset. Any suggestions as to what type of stock would be appreciated.

Take a look at the Shehane Tracker stock. Laminated wood and generous proportions should give you the weight and stability you need. I used one on my 1000 yard gun and love it.
