Dick, yes I have shot hunter class benchrest, IDPA, and Sproting clays. Also I thought someone would pickup on the Chuck Novice moniker quick but not that quick, You Al are sharp!
I am currently working on three heavy barreled remmys one in 308 and two in 223, one 223 is 1/12 the other is 1/9, the 1/12 shoots great the 1/9 I have not had a chance to work on much and the 308 shoots 1bout a 1" group at 100 yds all the spread is horizontal. Not sure why, I have tried two HS precision stocks both shoot the same POI and same size group with 168 SMKs and 168 AMAXs. The best groups I have had so far are from store bought FED GGM w/168 SMKs.
