I know its early, but I like to fill my calendar so I can anticipate where I'm gonna shoot next year. If you do too you can now start filling it in.
For the first time in many years the Salisbury Gun Club located just north and east of Salisbury Maryland, and only 30 minutes from the resort beach at Ocean City MD will host sanctioned benchrest matches. In the 60's 70's and early 80's this club was renowned for an active centerfire benchrest schedule and drew shooters from up and down the east coast. Its time to begin renewal of this tradition with rimfire.
We have 12 covered benches with plenty of room in between benches and a really nice 50 yard range (well a nice 12 bench 100 yard range too) that we will use to initiate IR50 to the locals and all who wish to join us. Starting small this first year with 7 IR 50 Unlimited 50 yard events. All will be held on Sunday afternoons starting with registration at 1:30 and the first relay at 2:00 PM.
