Guys & Girls,

I am new to your BRC forum. I am a regular on Rimfire Central where we have internet matches where we shoot, score the target ourselves, and then post. No prizes just bragging rights.

Does BRC offer matches like these? I'm interested in rimfire benchrest matches only.

short answer, no

problem is that bench rest is so dependent on conditions, ie the range and the wind, sun, humidity, that it would mean nothing to compare different location scores. That and we don't trust everyone. It just takes one to ruin the game. There are a couple of clubs in your area. I'm sure they will chime in and invite you to a shoulder to shoulder match...what say you Florida guys.....
 
Florida Matches

There are monthly IR 50/50 matches at Gateway(Jacksonville) and Manatee(East of Sarasota).
Also there are non sanctioned monthly matches at the Titusville gun club and the Seminole County gun club.
The schedules for Manatee and Gateway are on Benchrest Central.

Don't have the Seminole County contact info here in North Carolina.But they do have a website and the gentleman that runs the matches is Artie Morgan.
