First of all Let me say hello and introduce myself. My name is Kevin and I am from a small town just outside of Houston, Texas. I am 46 years old and have been shooting and hunting for most of my life. I am not really huge into these forums to be honest but it nice to read some of the posts from folks with likeminded interests. I do spend a lot of time reading posts but unless I am more than 100 % certain of my response, I do not post often. I will from time to time post a question that I have no answer to or one that I am needing assistance in answering............like right now.
First let me qualify that question with this statement....I am not trying to sell anything, but may in the future.......
I have recently come into possession of a rifle that I do not know anything about as I am not what you would call a bench rest shooter....I do not even reload my ammo ( I am just now starting to get into that). I was given a gun and am just wondering about the value of it if somebody could help me out. The rifle that I am speaking of is a 6mm x .284. It is, supposedly, custom built on a K98 Mauser action and has what is supposed to be a Douglass Sporter 25" barrel. It has what I assume is the original trigger that is crisp with no excessive travel but is a heavy trigger. From what I can gather it is the same company that is now CZ USA but very pre CZ USA. It is stamped Ceskoslovenska Zbrojovka A.S. BRNO
I can send pics if this helps but I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what this thing is worth............any help
