New Eck Sporter

Well,finally received my new Turbo action and had Gordon build a new sporter for me.

Here is a picture and a target shot

Jim, looks like a 249-15 or 16 Xs. Not bad, just imagine what you would have shot had you let me give you a shooting lesson when I was down in Bluffton in Jan. ;) I've tested and shot a number of Gordon's sporters over the years and I have to tell you that I haven't shot one that shot any better than yours (including mine). You've got a real hummer there.
 
Looks like you're off to a good start. What laminate did you go with on the stock?

Looks like you have a winner there! Sporter competition is going to be interesting this year with all the new Eck sporters on the line. Penny and I will be gettiing our's soon. We are both looking forward to that ride to NY.

ECK sporter's.

Jim: Im Glad your in SC.! The sporter comp. is going to be tough around NY.THIS year with all the ECK Hummers comming up, " Im glad I have one!" I just hope I can shoot it, Man..... Thats a good sporter card! Good luck!!

Ahh Wilbur, there you go again, picking on us senior citizens. ;)

I have yet to shoot a 250 with a sporter, Gordon promises that this will change this year...That is if I do my part.

Brett Wilson was talking about bring in some of these barrels into Australia.

There is also a few of those barrels Gordon Eck fitted to our Turbo shipment that should be here next month, so we'll soon see how good they are.
