I finally chambered my 6mm Dasher and painted the stock. No photos of the barreled receiver but 1-8 Krieger finished at 30", SS Viper, Tooley MBR stock NF 12x42x56 BR. Here are two photos of the stock, I just finished painting it today. Silver Base Coat, Candee Tangerine Mid Coat and Clear to top it off. Projects like this have been made possible by the kind smiths here that are willing to share their info. I've learned a great deal over the last year from these men. Thank you for sharing.

This rifle will be used for local & 600 yard BR Matches and F-Class.

William William William....

I have heard of gunsmiths engraving their work, but putting a self portrait and a picture of your relatives looking through the clear finish in a novel idea.

Thought you needed a laugh..

Let us see the metal work please.

It is another case of my age showing.

William, William, William...

You might ought to give up on being an electrician. You can gunsmith.

I hope it shoots as good as it looks.

Send a picture or two to Jerry and Curtis.

Thanks for the compliment. Coming from you, that means something. I've learned a great deal here on BR Central from men like you that are willing to share their knowledge.

Would you believe that stock was for a right hand Long action Remington 700 at one time? I changed it to what you now see.

Hey, Man, coud'ja move....

that pest-popper out th' way, so I could see what the ol' gal's got on TH' STOVE??:D:D:D

Good lookin' rifle, too!! I like that stock work. (I just couldn't resist:D:D)

Very nice. I planned to get a tattoo guy/artist to paint my f class dasher just like that but it didn't happen... yet. My plan was to let him do whatever he wanted but along that "type" of artwork. I am going to show him those pics and see what he can do.

Thanks for posting, it rekindled my interest.

The crapy cheekpiece is temporary, at least it was supposed to be, and the bolt heads are painted, I changed the bolts and knobs for the pic.
