New Brass at a Match ?

Would any or all of y'all use new ( Lapua ) un - fired brass at a
match, for score ?

Doesn't seem right just to use it as " practice" ammo.................

Most benchrest shooters fire form their brass [at least twice] in the chamber of the rifle they intend to compete with. I personally do not compete with brass that hasn't been fire formed. I shoot Lapua brass exclusively in both group and score matches.

Most people practice before a match. That is when you fireform. You could also fireform during the match using them as sighters or whatever.
