We are looking for a few more good shooters with 308 cal rifles. We have finished making our first run of 30 cal 185 gr BT bullets. We want to test these bullets before we make them an official part of our line.
These bullets use a tangent ogive and will not be as sensitive to seating depth as the VLDs. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that the BC for this bullet is higher than the BC for the VLDs.
Berger 30 cal 185 gr VLD = .556 BC
NEW Berger 30 cal 185 gr BT = .570 BC
If you can test these bullets by April 1st 2008 then please send an email to michelle.gallagher@bergerbullets.com. Please include your address, phone number, email address and brief description of your rifle.
We will collect these emails until Monday Feb. 18th. One box of bullets will be shipped on February 19th to those who are selected. Each tester who provides their results by April 1st, 2008 will be eligible for a 50% discount off up to 5 boxes of Berger Bullets (any cal and weight) to help offset your cost of consumables.

P.S. Those who already sent an email to be a part of the 30 cal 155.5 gr BT Palma bullet test are welcome and encouraged to be part of this testing as well. Additionally, we will soon be announcing a need for shooters to test our NEW 30 cal 175 gr BT and 30 cal 210gr BT.
