New 1000 Yard Range Records set at Reade Range in Allemans, PA

The last 1000 yard matches for 2008 were held this past Sunday at Reade Range in Allemans, PA. Even though the conditions went from very foggy to heavy mirage there was some great shooting.

There were two new range records set during match 10. Scott Leitner, shooting for the first time at this range, shot a 100 score with a 5.832" group during his relay. Scott's 100 score is a new Reade Range record.

We figured that Scott had both the high score and small group of the match, that was until the shoot-off. John Hoover shot a 4.614" group during the group shoot-off to not only win the match but also set a new range group record. Congratulations to both of these shooters.

Also, thanks to all of you who attended our matches this year. We continue to grow and look forward to the 2009 shooting season.

Reade Range

I recently attended Match 10 at this range. It was an enjoyable weekend. The range was very nice and the match was well run and even though it looked like I was going to set records in best score (100) and group, Jon beat me for group, I will definitely be back to shoot next year. Nice place - nice group of shooters.
