Nesika J actions

When did nesika switch from the rem. style bolt shroud to the more streamlined shroud? I have what I think is an earlier J action with the rem. style shroud. Serial # is J0118 above Poulsbo,WA. on left side and the nesika logo followed by the word nesika on the right side. It's a left port right bolt model. Appreciate any input.

no idea but i got a J02XX and that on has a conical shroud with the N logo on the back

I had an early J with the Remington style cocking piece that was also made in Poulsbo. They switched to the later style sometime while they were still in Poulsbo before they sold out to Dakota and moved to Sturgis. Personally, I liked the earlier style cocking piece better as it fit my bolt disassembly tools.

mine is build in poulsbo also

i do not need a tool i use a wilson decaping pin ore cleaning jag point to get the fireing pin out
