Simple! ONE Wilson Seater Die [with or without the micrometer top] and ONE Redding Type S Full length Sizing Die, with a couple bushings, for the 223 Remington. :)

For press dies, Redding. I use their Type S bushing style full sizing die with a .244 bushing for my Lake City brass and their competion bullet seating die to load for my .223's. The bushing size may vary depending on the thickness of your case necks.

I have not bought any brass yet . Thinking I would buy the brass and dies at the same time . I guess I will need the brass first then the bushing ??

I have an old two die set (RCBS) but I know there has to be better .

The better dies were mentioned above. Lapua brass is the best but more expensive. In my humble opinion, whatever you do, stay away from Remington brass [not so good]. Winchester is OK.

To start off with a bushing or two, seat a bullet in an empty case, measure the OD [outside diameter] and then buy a bushing .001" or .002" smaller. Later when you get into tuning with powder, seating depth, and neck tension you might want to try other bushings. Art :)
