I am a new member to BRCentral and could use some help in how adjust the trigger on a Winchester 52D.
I am a competitive pistol shooter and am just getting into rifle shooting which will only be on a recreational basis. Picked up a 52D this past weekend at a real good price but I would like to adjust trigger for me. Currently, it is solid and I would like a slight amount of take up and the same with over travel. Right now it breaks right at 1 pound. Can these be taken down to around 5-6 ounces?

Could use some guidance on which screws to tweak to obtain the results I am looking for so any info you guys can provide to a rookie rifle shooter from Iowa would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Steve

Don't expect any "take up, or overtravel". These triggers are known for minimal motion. Mine is spooky, because I just hear a click when it releases, no movement, no vibration.

There is a trigger sticky in the Winchester, 52 sub forum.

They were not named "Micro Motion" for nothing. Properly adjusted there is next to nothing take up wise same on the over travel.
