I just purchased an interesting 4X40 scope marked PO Ackley. I know who Ackley was and his wildcat cartridges are still very popular, but I never knew he was involved in rifle scopes. Can anyone help me with some information on the scope or its value? Thanks in advance.
They were made in the '54-'55 time frame, imported from Japan. Very short-lived, but not real common. With all the Ackley fans around, someone would probably love to have it.
