I know Thomas rifles are the top f the line, just can't afford one. What is the best production rifle for 50 yard bench rest. I want to be competive as possible with the local rimfire crowd. I quit shooting rimfire because of ammo costs. I have a daystate air raider in 25 cal and love I love it. Thinking I need a 22 cal because of scoring. Any help appreciated.

My suggestion would be to either swap the Daystate barrel over to a .22 along with whatever else you might need: probe, loading ramp and all, or if you're in a position to buy another decent gun and don't want to mess with your Daystate, look at the RAW's. I have a BM 500 in .22 set up as an Open Class gun, and to say the least: it's AWESOME!!!

Good luck.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. I see there are quite a few in the equipment lists. I would like to see pictures of some results at 50 yards
