The Board is pleased to announce that we have secured dates at the Camp Butner (Butner), NC 1000 yard range so that we can complete our 2009 ten-match schedule. We are most fortunate that this facility has been made available to us. Please remember that we are their guests and we must act accordingly. The following . . . presents the dates, range, and matches.

NC 1000 will fabricate 12 portable benches from which we will shoot. Because the Butner range has pits, each shooter will be scheduled for their fair share of pit duty. Shooters must furnish their own shooting stools, tents, tables, food, and drinks. There will be a “police call” after each match to clean the firing line and staging area of debris. We would like to close registration at 9:30 AM, and have out first shot down range by 10:00 AM.
We are currently selecting dates at Camp Butner to hold all our 2010 matches at this facility. However, we would like to identify property that could be developed into a new 1000 yard bench rest range. If you know of any property that could conceivably be developed into a 1000 yard range, please bring that information with you to our first match at Camp Butner in August.
