Wilbur

cook and bottle washer
I cooked this thing up...took 4 days and it's a bit warped but good enough to glue somewhere. Made from walnut and inlayed with maple...

It's layin' on a cutting board...about 4 inches round and 1/4 inch thick....

Hey...this may be the place

I don't know "Jack" about varnish or likes of the same. Does anybody know something good I could "paint" these things with and them not be too shiny? They don't really need it but I'm thinking a dirty fingerprint wouldn't look good if such were to happen.

Looks like a good thing to rub on...takes a while to dry but what else do I have to do!?!? I ordered a can from Amazon. Thanks!

Very nice Wilbur. Something like that would sure make a nice set of coasters for a benchrester's RV and would probably even get his wife's approval. Might need to be a little simpler than a 4 day project for coasters though.

not just the NBRSA logo, if you get the ok to make it for sale. you could also make stuff for individual bullet makers, gunsmiths ect. ect. if they have a logo of their on..... i think that would be cool too. the gizmo he has probably can make a design on almost any object............. i would guess.

Spray them with Minwax Spar Urethane clear satin. It will protect the wood and not be to shinny. You can put several coates on them. As you will spray thin. Hope this heps.
