Anyone heard any news from DeSoto KS and the NBRSA Hunter Nationals? I heard Greg Swezey(sp) won the 100 - but haven't heard anything other than that. Thanks in advance.

Greg Swezey won the HBR 100 Yard, Randy Robinett won the 200 Yard and is the 100-200 Yard Agg Champ, Ron Bertrand won the 200 Yard LR today with a 250-6. Sorry for not having the scores in front of me. Wish us luck at the 300 Yard in the morning.

Thank you Mr. Small. Congrats Greg, RG, Ron, and all the other top finishers. There also is a VFS match going on at the same time - if I remember correctly,it is not a National, but a Super Regional event. Regardless, some of the best shooters on the planet are in Kansas right now. Good luck to all.

Atta' boy, R.G.!!!!!

It's no small deal that Randy won the 200 and the Grand with a .25 cal.!

Trivia question: When was the last time a non-.30 cal. won a yardage at the NBRSA Hunter Nats? Let alone the 100-200 Grand? Theme from 'Jeopardy' playing softly in the background.........

Good shootin'. -Al

maybe it's because even Randy can't get the 30 jackets....

Virg, Randy has been working with the .25's in both BR and Hunter (think 25X47) case capacity configs. for several years, now.;) I was one of the original 'guinea pigs' for testing his .25 cal. bullets.

No doubt...

regards the excellence of Randy's 25s. But giving up that 58 thousands might be painful occasionally. Also add that Randy's 112's now hold the worlds record.

I'll give up all those X's for that ten...virg

Virg, the math works out like this: .308 - .257 = .051 of bullet difference. Or .0255 (twenty five and a half thou.) of 'on target' scoring difference between them.

Like you, I'm a .30 guy! :) -Al
