2010 1000YD NATIONALS RESULTS

SLOUGHHOUSE 2010 NBRSA 1000 YARD NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

These are the standings at the end of day 2 when the match was stopped and later cancelled because of safety and weather. After time and discussion with many shooters, it was decided not to reschedule the last day. This canceled the National Championship awards since the National course of fire was not completed. There will be no 2010 National recognition for this match year.

This straight from the nbrsa website on the homepage.

I have learned more about the nbrsa in the last 2 months than I ever wanted to know.

Our Mission
To standardize on a national basis the entire Bench Rest Shooting program so that match procedures will be uniform and comparable;;)

To the NBRSA Board Of Directors,Vice President,Regional Director,Longrange Chairman and especially The President I would like to personaly thank you for all the hard work and thought you put into this very tough decision.I realise it isn't easy to break your own rules at a National event and then try to fix the problem you created.I am glad you finaly had the guts to put up an official post on your website so all new shooters and potential new shooters could see how you strive to follow your Mission Statement despite what you have actually done.

I am positive the match procedures will now be uniform and comparable.
I can honestly say I have never shot with a group of guys quite like you before.

P.S.After time and discussion with many shooters means this. 1/3 of the shooters were still in the pits. 1/3 were on the firing line and 4 people supposedly in charge decided the outcome of the match while being told straight up it was against the rules.Hopefully the embarassment of being caught yet again encourages them to now follow the rules.
