Your buddy Billy is on his way home with a brand new Nightforce 12-42 scope in his truck. He set 3 or 4 pending world records as well. The boy can really shoot his Dashers.

Bench 10...

I shot Bench 10 with Gary Noble and Billy Copelin.

Started out in the pits, first relay day one, and Gary shot a LG 50, 2x, 2.6" group.

First target.

Wow.

Poor Billy had to pull my targets, and I know he would have been happier to give me good news.

I had some issues.

My favorite moment was Sunday, watching Billy shoot. I think it was second sighter target, HG.

This is the short 3 minute sighter period.

Billy pulls his bolt, gets up, waltzes to his range bag, can't find what he wants, talks to someone, and gets some bolt grease. Which he applies in as slow and dedicated a manner as necessary to his bolt lugs.

Cool as a cucumber.

Returns to the bench, bangs off a couple more sighters.

I don't know how they make these decisions, whether Craig, Gary, Jim O'Connell, whomever.

But I am forever grateful.

I couldn't have hoped to shoot with anyone better than Gary Noble and Billy Copelin.

Thanks.

RBD

N.B. Also, Greg was singing show tunes in the pits.

I love show tunes.

Especially Oklahoma.

How sweet is this?

I will try and get the results up in the morning.I was at work for 12 hpours today trying to fix things and I'm too tired to type all night.
Billy Copelin ended up setting 4 pending world records not 3 like I posted earlier and he earned 9 Hall Of Fame points as well.
Jerry Tierney,Don Nielson and Clifford "Skip" Talbot are already in the NBRSA Hall Of Fame.
