Its been over 2 years ,But the action is now on its way to being into production.Scott ,Fudd,Was orginially going to help me with producing the action,but because of his heavy work load in his shop & working a full time job,he could not find enough hours in the day to do this,So A very dear friend of mine,Who is a very surperb ,machinist & tool designer,Has agreed to produce the action
,Linwood & Walter Harrell will be producing the action,It will be called the Virginian,I have made a few modifications from my orginal action,It now will take a 5018 Anschutz trigger,or a Jewell BR trigger,I designed a special trigger hanger to accodominate both,The only thing that needs to be changed is the sear,one is 90 degrees for the 5018 & the angled one for the Jewell.Linwood has designed a set of scope rings for the action,both offset & srtaight,These rings are already on my Turbo For testing & John Is going to Kettelfoot with some samples to show today,John is one of Linwoods computer designers.THe action features a V drop port loading,.750 by 20 action threads,Both action screws ahead of the trigger,The rings Are working great& they are really heavy duty.. What will the action cost ? What will it look like? Are all the bugs worked out of the prototype action. What barrels are you recommending for the action? Will it have right port -right bolt? In short I would like to have more information on what you are producing. garrisone.

I won't even attempt to answer questions because I have only held the prototype in my hands one time. I recall the 60 degree bolt throw and right bolt and left port. Firing pin was at 6 oclock if I remember correctly. The prototype is/was so impressive I asked Bill to add me to the list of "I gotta have one" orders. The 5018 trigger adaptability is what sold me quick. I'm sure Bill will put whatever works best on her for barrel and wood. Sometimes you just have to trust the craftsman and give him whatever leeway he needs to perform miracles. My only concern is will it be done before Christmas....and I suspect that depends on how many are ahead of me. Llike fine wine good things can take time.

Congrats Bill. The gestation period was long but I expect the birth to be a joyous occasion.
