My own barrel tuner ...

All,

After much research and reading all the online information I could, I sought the experts for barrel tuners. Sadly, I didn't get the responses I was hoping for but that didn't detour me.

I have included a pic of a design I and a local machinist came up with which screws onto the sight block holes in my '72' Anschutz 1407.

I've practiced tuning it once and fired it in 100yd matches twice ... yesterday I posted a .348" 5-shot group ... with SK ammo?!

It ain't pretty, but it sure seems functional !

I can't wait to get back to the range !

it almost looks like a mueller scope to me. i could be wrong. mueller makes a pretty good variable scope for the money.

Sorry guys, it's the Sportsman's Guide version of a Barska. I couldn't resist it on Craig's List last year, got it for $65. Since I don't make any money shooting, it will be awhile before I can put some good glass on it.

..... And then there's the centerfire stuff I need to put upgrades on?!

Too many decisions, too little discretionary funds.

As for the blueing question, I'm looking for someone to work that in.
