I hope that I did not Boo-Boo. I bought a like new Savage laminated stock, (Short Action)Rifle Baxis trigger and have on order a PreFit 20BR Bbl. I am planning on useing a Savage 200 as a base action. Will the stock fit the action or is the Stevens a long action?

Stevens 200's come in both long and short actions. It depends on the caliber it was made for. 308 and smaller cartriges are on the short actions and larger calibers (270 Win on up) are the large actions.
