muzzle heavy rifle?

what will the downfalls be with a muzzle heavy rifle for 600 yard shooting. Is it purely a bag riding issue? I am going to be doing a 6BRX on a new HaverKamp action with a 1.250 straight barrel. 27" long. stock will be a Mcmillan MBR. rifle will weight about 14.8 pounds without scope. I will add a little weight to the stock, but it will still be nose heavy, probably quite a bit. My main intent for this rifle is f-class/ prairie dogs but it would be nice to pull double duty on the bench. I have always like those big old barrels but i wonder if i should just send it back to Bruno and go with a HV instead. F-class allows 22 pounds and that will not be a problem, but 17 pounds may be! So is muzzle heavy rifle a bad thing? Thanks

With most long, heavy, barrels it's impossible to keep the rifle from weighing more on the front rest than on the rear, while still staying within the 17# limit. Exactly what does yours weigh?

The rifle in subject isnt built yet, just parts. It will soon be on the way to be chambered them to TM stockworks for the inletting and bedding. All the parts weight right at 13.5 pounds without scope. I can use a weaver 36X to save a little weight. I am thinking it will be best to send the barrel back to bruno and exchange it for a HV. Thanks Lee

A 27" 1.250 barrel on my MBR design won't be bad at all. I would put about 8 ozs. of lead in the butt if you're using a light scope. None if you're running a Nightforce.
