If you are not already aware, the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) is a 501(c)3 wildlife conservation organization devoted to improving the health and habitat of mule deer and black tail deer through funding raising and volunteer sweat equity for conservation projects throughout the West.
MDF will have an information booth at the upcoming Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation convention in Fort Worth on March 5-8. I am helping MDF gather volunteers to help man the booth for one or more days during that time. As you can guess, manning the booth will involve providing basic information (written and verbal) regarding MDF and encouraging folks to become members...no special skills/knowledge required.
If you or someone you know in the Dallas-Fort Worth area may be willing to volunteer on one or more of those days, please contact me at your earliest convenience.
