On August 15, 2009 there is going to be a 100,200,300 yard groundhog shoot at Mount Airy IWLA in Maryland. I have tried to make the targets interesting. In the 100 yard target if your bullet touches the grass you get a zero. The 200 and 300 yard targets print on 11 x 17 paper. We have made practice targets that will print on 8.5 x 11 paper. I copied this post here because I thought it was of interest. Anybody who thinks this is not centerfire benchrest has never shot one of these matches. Around here people use full custom rifles with Leupold, Nightforce and even March scopes to compete we shoot 6BR ,30BR, 30x47 and even 6 PPC's to win
