I posed this question on another forum; over 100 views but no responses. Any of you guys have any idea on this?
Short of an FBI analysis, is there any way for us commoners to distinguish which coating a bullet has on it? Awhile back, I switched from using moly to Danzac. The problem is: I now have some coated boxes (22's and 30's) but I can't remember which I used on them. AND DID NOT LABEL THEM!
Part two of the question I guess is: If there is no reliable way to tell, and if indeed they ARE coated with moly, what would be the effect of shooting them in a DANZAC coated 30BR barrel?
