moa for 2 mile shot

Could someone please (ballpark) calculate moa holdover @100yds for a 2 mile shot? My ballistics programs don't run that far and I'm lazy, but if I get a chance I'd like to be able to drive out and try one of them "King of the 2-Mile" type matches this winter.

Berger 300gr OTM's at 2700, listed as .822 G1 BC is a good starting point I think.

Ballpark is fine, I just want to get some bullet splash in the general vicinity to get started. I have nowhere to try 2 miles.

I can supply distance from bore to scope centerline but I'd like to know where to start. I'm thinking I need around 165moa, my setup has spacers so I can change this offset..... and I _think_ if my guess is correct I can snuggle the scope down fairly tight to the action.

I assumed a .375 caliber and standard atmosphere. You are -10358.53" @ 3500 yards. (!!!) With a remaining velocity of 802 fps.

so, what's my come up at 100 yds?

my 100yd target frame is 24ft tall and my 600yd is a sheet of plywood.....in my perfect world I'd like to just set my poi at 100, ie crank it up to say "168 3/8" high" at 100yds so's it'll drop in at 2K

I can't see my 600yd butt as being of much use :)
 
btw this is for some sort of 338..... I'm currently mounted up on a blown out 338L but have 3 other 338 options as well as 375's..... I just can't predict intrinsic accuracy of the 375's.

the 338 setups are known quantities to me.
 
OK no guarantees but making some assumptions. Berger 300 Elite Hunter G7 BC 0.417, 2700 fps, 3000 ft elevation, 60 DegF, 50% humidity, 3520 yards.

"Shooter" predicts 263.4 MOA come up. About 276 inches at 100 yards. So Your 24 feet at a 100 might not make it. 1 foot to spare.

Using Berger 300 grain OTM G7 0.422 I get about 261 MOA come up at 2 mile for the same conditions above.
 
Thank you oht.... I can easily extend the frame as needed. This is exactly the information I'm looking for. I've got "tall targets" and plumb lines in place for work out to 1500yds, just no idea how to figure for 2 miles.
 
What altitude? For 2 mile I get about 310" come up at 100 yards shooting at zero altitude (sea level) with the OTM. About 250" if shooting at 5000 feet. Makes a big difference. What altitude would you like for best guess? You shooting shooting east, west, north, south, what latitude? It all makes a little difference but the air density makes the biggest difference.
 
That sea level thing is probably the kicker.... I had a computer literate person access a program on the innernet and run some numbers.

The question I'm REALLY asking has been answered... that question is, "can my setup dial far enough, can I see around the barrel adequately and can I shoot it"

IME most practicing at distance is a waste of time so my method is to set up a tall target and work out the bugs
