Military Unlimited rail gun

Post ?

Ted,
Did you mean to post something in your thread ? I don't see an attachment.
Best,

That's been around for a very long time. There is more than one at crane but don't know how many. This is the same platform that tested the 6.8spc and others. Some have a Remington action and I believe one has a Hart 1A. I know there is another fitted with a universal set up for pressure testing. If you think that is impressive, you should see there 1000 + meter underground range. Many rare, one of a kind and prototype firearms are tested and stored there.

Oh...did I also mention they have at least one twenty foot long covered dumpster of 8208.....

Thanks Hovis
Well I didn't think the gun was that impressive, but I don't know that much about rail guns.
I was really surprised to see it.
I wonder how it works?

I never took a real close look at it but let me tell you...it shoots very well and very repeatable. The main difference between it and typical rails is: One, it's to heavy to move during a BR match (but you don't have to worry about it shifting on the bench like ours between shots, even with a 50BMG barrel). Two, it's more adaptable for barrel sizes and calibers. As far as accuracy between it and the typical rail...I don't really know.

So would that be the device that the chucked the MANN Accuracy Device that CMP had for sale into?
