Mideast Monkey Madness

I am not sure that this is appropriate to this forum but it could go under the humor thread and it does involve guns:
In the Libyan city of Sabha a monkey belonging to a shopkeeper of the Gaddadfa tribe pulled off the head scarf of a girl from the Awlad Suleiman tribe. In angry response men from the Awlad Suleiman tribe killed three people of the Gaddadfa tribe plus the monkey. This act of simian slaughter sparked an escalation on the second and third days with the use of tanks, mortars and other heavy weapons. So far 16 are dead and at least 50 are wounded. I am not sure if they counted the monkey among the dead.
So the moral of the story is like the verse in a song (with minor modification): You don't tug on Superman's cape. You don't make love in the sand. You don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger and you don't mess with a girl's head scarf of the Awlad Suleiman . Tim

Killing the monkey makes as much sense as the invasion of Iraq. Now, if Hillary were in charge....she would vote for less guns and us shooters could dig out our old dusty croquet sets and stop worrying about the redundancy of Sporter Class.
