Michael is not in the Air Force. He is finishing his Masters and will go into OCS in August and become a Seaman.

Well I guess I could come up with some smart remarks about going into the Navy, but I will just say God Bless him for being willing to Ante UP. He ain't a kid anymore. Most guys his age would just say "oh I'm to old" and go back to the firing line to enjoy that freedom.

You can only pass on what you have heard. I try to check in with him once a week. He will actually be an officer and said he asked to be deployed. Being a biology major with research in mosquitos, he thinks he might end up in a research unit in Florida. The Navy will be very lucky to have him and I wish him well.

I don't believe that he ever had a website. Go to Mike Bryant's website and he has some photos, go to my website www.shadetreeea.com and you can see one in our rest advertisements. He has done 3 BR rifles for me and 1 hunting rifle. I think it would be neat to have a thread with just Kav's stock pictures.

These are the only Kavanaugh paint jobs that I have on my web site. The third one down was one Kav did for himself and later sold. The top one and bottom one are my rifles. The second one down was one I built for myself, but wound up selling to help pay for a new lathe.
