Gentlemen:
With great pleasure, I would like to report that I have converted everyone's match results for the year up until 07/31/08 to the new scoring program that was written by Doug Weeter with Gary and my inputs. I am also very pleased with our new website.
I can not say enough thanks to Gary for his dedicated hard work to bring about the changes to our website nor the help we received from Doug and Wilbur to get this thing up and running.
I will be sending each of you a CD later this week with all of your match results year to date and the scoring program with all of your competitions already entered into the data base. For the guys that did not have a 4 digit in any data base that I looked at, one has been assigned to you. Please continue using the same number for the remainder of the shooting year. When you get a new shooter at the range please make sure and add them to your data base. The program is easy to use. I think it will make your reporting much easier and it surely makes it better on Gary and I concerning the website.
When you have time, Please upload some pictures of your range and items of interest to your section on the website. I will be uploading my section shortly myself for Blackbelt benchrest club. I will be happy to help any of you get your range information up and running if you have any trouble.
Dave Shat. : You have an excellent story to tell getting your rifle up and shooting. It is excellent reading and I'm sure many others would enjoy your writing style telling the tale. Thank goodness it's not a woe is me tale but one of considerable incite of making an air rifle perform as expected. It would be great reading on our blog or in the helpful hints section.
I have not filled out the equipment list for your competitors and hopefully over time you guys can enter that information so that others can see the equipment we are using to shoot from the bench.
Well enough for now, I'm going to get the kids and hit the river before school starts. Don't hesitate to call or email if you need help.
