why don't you see more fellas using these stocks? I have read that some think they are a bit flimsy. whats the scoop? lee

I have a F-Class McMillan stock on a 284 Win and it is "good-to-go". Not a thing wrong with it and in fact I think it is great.

I just ordered one yesterday. I just hope I don't die of old age before they deliver it.

The Mcmillans are pretty good but they are kinda flimsy( at least compared to Robertson stocks). Robertson composites stocks are better all around, straighter and much stiffer . I have heard production may start up again soon in Canada under a different name. I am crossing my fingers this goes ahead.....

The robertsons are pretty good but its about like a studebaker- no matter how bad you want a new one it just aint hapnin. Hope they do put those fine molds to work and take ian's recipe to make em.

Ian does all my stock and gunsmithing work. He is an excellent gunsmith and only about a 15 minute drive from me. I think a number of people( myself included) are trying to get him to go back into the stock business as his stocks, formula and know how are second to none.
