Has the mcmillan edge lv stock enough room inside it to take a blind adl magazine ?
I have a remington 700 bdl and need to find this out before purchasing the stock.
How much work is involved in converting a action with a bld floor plate to a adl one ?
Any information and help appreciated
Thanks Jason

Edge Stocks

Jason,
The hunter benchrest guys shooting IBS competition are presently using the hunter version of the same stock. By rule they must have a magazine capable of holding two shells. This sometimes involves cutting a bit of material off the bottom of the sheet metal. It can be done with a bit of care. If I were putting a magazine cut out in a LV, I would pillar bed and screw the action in place. A glue in might get you into some trouble with magazine function.

Contact Kelly McMillan at McMillans. I'll bet he can fix you exactly what you need.

Jason, If I'm reading what you wrote correctly....The best you're going to get is a shortened version that wont hold all the rounds of the adl box if you leave anything in the way of a bottom in your cutout, the conversion is just a mag box.
