McMillan Edge HBR Stock

What is the difference between the McMillan Edge HBR and the non-Edge stock? I see a 1/2 flat on the forearm side and a flat under the butt. Does the Edge have a flat forearm? I thought the rules stated the bottom edges had to be convex.

The Edge HBR has a thinned fore-end and no weight turning in the rear. The LV and HV Edges do have a 1/2" flat on the buttstock but supposedly still meet IBS and NBRSA requirements.

Edge HBR

The forend on the HBR model is slightly convex to satisfy the rule book. There is a flat on the bottom of the buttstock.
